Il premio, creato in Svezia nel 2002, viene dato ogni anno a una figura o a un&#8217;organizzazione per il suo contributo al mondo della letteratura per l&#8217;infanzia e per ragazzi.\u00a0<br \/>Il francese Jean-Cleade Mourlevat, vincitore dell&#8217;edizione 2021, \u00e8 autore di libri per ragazzi e per adulti, traduttore e anche un grande appassionato di teatro di cui \u00e8 stato insegnante, oltre che attore e regista. La giuria l&#8217;ha premiato per la sua abilit\u00e0 nel creare mondi nuovi e fantastici, attingendo al suo amore per la fiaba.\u00a0<br \/>Dalla sua prima pubblicazione nel 1997, la sua opera \u00e8 stata tradotta in una ventina di Paesi.<\/p>\n<p>Il commento della giuria:<br \/><em>&#8220;Jean-Claude Mourlevat is a brilliant renewer of fairy tale traditions, open to both hardship and beauty. Time and space are suspended in his fictional worlds, and eternal themes of love and longing, vulnerability and war are portrayed in precise and dreamlike prose.
